Shammi Akhtar’s passion for herbs and natural healing began at a young age when her grandmother first taught her the secrets of plants and traditional remedies. Shammi is a certified herbalist and cosmetics formulator. She has also obtained certifications in skincare and medicinal herbalism.

After working for years formulating remedies in small batches for family and friends, Shammi decided to share her knowledge with the world by launching Natrico. All Natrico products are handmade in small batches using her proprietary herbal blends that draw from ancient Eastern wellness traditions. The product range includes herbal soaps, shampoos, oils, tonics and more.

As a mother of two sons and a daughter, Shammi understands the importance of using gentle, nourishing ingredients that are safe for the entire family. She pours her passion into every Natrico product with the hope of helping to empower others on their wellness journeys.
